1.               Externally assessed materials

OCNSWR does not offer externally assessed qualifications

2.               Internally assessed materials

2.1       All internally assessed materials must be retained by the centre until the verification process has been completed and the Recommendation for the Award of Credit has been authorised.  Beyond this time, centres are expected to retain materials for 28 working days subject to any appeals against the assessment decision.

2.2          Any appeals against assessment decisions must follow the centre’s appeals procedures which must be exhausted before an appeal can be made to OCNSWR.  All assessed materials together with assessment and internal verification documentation must be made available to OCNSWR in order to support any claim for review of the assessment decision.

2.3          The centre may decide how best to store assessed material, but all learner work must be stored securely, with limited access by authorised personnel only.

3.       Standardisation

3.1          In addition to, but separate from 2 above, OCNSWR will request and retain copies of assessed evidence for standardisation purposes.  Evidence must be anonymised and be submitted as photocopies or in a scanned format.
