A Pre-Access course is designed to give learners the skills they need to enrol on an Access to Higher Education Diploma. The aim of a Pre-Access course is to raise the level of the learners basic skills, build confidence and self esteem, and help gain greater independence as a learner.
By using a selection of units from the NOCN Qualifications in Progression you can put together a programme that is designed to support and prepare learners so that they are ready to study for the Access to HE Diploma.
Below is an example of a Pre-Access course using units from the NOCN progression qualification:

The qualification achieved is the NOCN Level 2 Diploma in Progression (QCF).
