| These qualifications have been developed in partnership with Skills for Care and Development in consultation with employers within the health and social care sectors. The qualifications aim to support government strategies to develop knowledge, understanding and skills to prepare individuals for working in the health and social care sector.

| NOCN Certificate in Leading Learning (QCF)

| This qualification has endorsed routes in Literacy, mathematics, Science and ICT, and has been developed as a qualification suite to promote and reinforce opportunity for all to develop and gain essential skills to underpin life and work. The main aim of this qualification is to develop leadership skills in those who will undertake a Learning Leader role within a school or other setting.

Art, Design and Creative Media

| NOCN Developing Skills for the Creative and Cultural Industries (QCF)

The qualifications will enable the development of generic transferable skills, which will enable learners to progress into a range of possible employment opportunities within specific areas of the arts and/or crafts.

| NOCN Interior Design Skills qualifications (QCF)
| L2 L3 | Award/Cert/Dip Award/Cert/Dip | These qualifications are a response to the industry need for focused qualifications which reflect current practice, and provide a major contribution to the qualifications currently available for Creative Industries. Together these qualifications provide a realistic introduction to, and progression within, the industry, encouraging the development of business understanding, and creative, technical and practical skills.

| NOCN Supporting Individuals with Learning Disabilities qualifications (QCF)
| L2 L3 | Award/Cert Award/Cert | These qualifications have been developed in partnership with Skills for Care and Development and supports government strategies to increase knowledge and understanding of how to support individuals with learning disabilities. The qualifications have also been developed to meet the changing needs of the sector by offering greater flexibility to support employers in relation to the development of their personnel.

Outdoor Activity Industry

| NOCN Introductory Work in the Outdoors (QCF) | L2 | Award | This qualification aims to provide an enhanced induction into working in an outdoor centre, together with more specific training, for young people and adults aged 16 years and over entering employment in this area. This qualification has been developed in collaboration with SkillsActive, the British Activity Holiday Association (BAHA), the Institute for Outdoor Learning (IOL) and other employers in the outdoors/adventurous activities field. This is a new qualification, which replaces the previous NOCN qualification of the same name.

Volunteering

| NOCN Preparation for Event Volunteering (QCF) | L1 | Cert | This qualification has been developed from a programme which had previously been developed in preparation for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It aims to raise the profile of volunteering amongst those furthest from the labour market and to use volunteering at a public event as a means of improving skills, knowledge and experience to create routes to employment. This is a new qualification which will replace the expiring NOCN qualification of the same name at Entry 3.
