Open College Network South West Region (OCNSWR) has had a strong regional background as part of the National Open College Network (NOCN) for the past 26 years. We are also a national Awarding Organisation in our own right recognised by Ofqual, the regulatory authority for qualifications in England. This enables us to submit and offer new national qualifications in the Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) that may attract public funding.
OCNSWR is also licensed independently by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) for Higher Education as an Authorised Validating Agency (AVA), to award QAA-Recognised Access Certificates.
Our services are easy to use and we have a great team of staff supporting our providers. We can offer local accreditation or national qualifications which may be eligible for SFA funding.
We are pleased to announce the launch of our own YouTube channel where our providers and learners can submit their own footage of their learning experiences and share comments and feedback with others.
You can find further details and view our current footage on our new Videos page.
